We get asked lots of questions by couples who just want simple, honest answers allowing them to confidently book their chosen Wedding Photographer. These are the most commonly asked questions:
"How much do you charge and how do I pay?" The total cost for our "All Day, One Price" package is just £600. We ask for a £100 deposit which will secure your booking and the balance of £500 to be paid no later than 2 weeks before your wedding. You can do this online via a BACS transfer or by cheque. (All the details are on the back page of the contract)
"What do you mean by "All Day?" We will arrange to be there with you whilst you are getting ready, normally when the hairdresser and make up artist are present. We then spend the rest of the day with you to include, the wedding, group photos, speeches, cake cutting and first dance.
"Why is wedding photography generally so expensive?" Despite how it may look it's not just a case of turning up to the wedding and pressing the shutter! In our case you are paying for 2 people to work all day taking unlimited numbers of images. As a business we pay, Income Tax, Public Liability Insurance and buy Individual Music Licences for every couple on top of the cost of travel and expensive camera equipment. We then spend a further 2 days editing your images, compiling a photo book and producing your USB's and DVD Slideshow. We strongly believe that our "All Day, One Price" package represents incredible value for money! We challenge you to find a better overall package anywhere in Somerset!
"Can we meet you before we make a descision?" We encourage all couples to come to our home in Wembdon, Bridgwater so that you can meet us, see samples of our work and discuss exactly what you require. This meeting is completely without any obligation to you and we actively encourage couples to go home and discuss our package before making any booking. (We are happy to come to you if that's more convenient to your work and family life)
"How far will you travel" We are a Somerset based business and we have based our price on being able to travel to wedding venues in the County. If you like what we offer but live further afield why not contact us and we will happily work out a price based on the extra mileage.
"Do you photograph same-sex couples?" We would be delighted to photograph your same-sex wedding!
"What if it is raining on the day?" We always visit your venue before the big day so that we can look at all the possibilities we may face, including alternative locations if the weather is bad. This may mean that at the last minute we clear an indoor area with the help of your wedding venue and use a wide angle lens with flash lighting. We have faced this situation a number of times and be assured that we always work out a way so that you get the very best images.
"How long will we have to wait before we see our photos?" Within 48 hours you will be able to see a small number of photos on our FaceBook page and also see a sample Gallery on the Portfolio page of our website. As we put your photo book together during the editing process you will have your fully completed package within 2 -3 weeks of your wedding including your A3 Hard Back Photo Book, 3 x USB's and 3 DVD Slideshows!
"Can you supply extra photo books or DVD's?" We will happily supply extra photo books or DVD's if required. These are priced at £100 for an A3 Book, £70 for an A4 Book and only £10 per DVD or USB.
